I can’t believe there is less than a week to go until the Laptop Crop.
I have all my atc’s done and laminated and bought a new laptop bag from Warehouse Stationary today
I went a chatting April 18, 2007
today at Digital Scrapbook Place. I was only planning on staying there for the Newbies Chat with Bethy & Z but ended up staying for the chat the following hour with Amber and then the West Coast Chat.
The challenge at the West Coast Chat was to use 3 different catagories of freebies and this is the layout I came up with. I am not entirely pleased with the buttons but I can always change that later.

A slight hiccup April 17, 2007
I applied for 1 day of unpaid leave for the laptop crop and it was rejected so I reapplied for a late start instead (knowing my work schedule I may just have the day off anyway) I know that if I don’t go my friend wont go either. Hopefully in the next few days I will know whether I can go to DSP Laptop Crop

I am wanting to try out for the digital team member
So, here it is, the design team search! We are looking for 2 more design team members to add to our team. We are looking for 1 scrapper who is predominately a paper scrapper and 1 who mostly does digi! We really want to cater to digi scrappers too and we will have digi scrappers included in our guest artist line up!
As a design team member you will get to work with the sketches of many Australian Scrap Artists with your work being regularly published on the Sketches Oz Blog. Your design team commitment will be up to 2 layouts each month.
To be considered for the design team we want you to provide us with 3 layouts, 2 will come from the sketches below and the 3rd from your own sketch. I want to say a big thankyou to talented Australian Sketch Artist Cath at Little Book of Sketches for allowing us to use a couple of her sketches.
Once you are done email your 3 layouts, together with your sketch to woodroffesofisa@aapt.net.au with Sketches Oz – Design Team Search in the subject line! You are welcome to submit your layouts in either a 12 x 12 or 11 x 8.5, whichever is your preferred size.
Good luck & we can’t wait to see the work because there are so many talented Australian scrappers out there that I know this is going to be very hard to judge!
